I'm a student journalist based in San Luis Obispo with experience reporting on local politics, educational boards, homelessness, affordable housing and more. I'm the incoming News Editor for Mustang News, which I've reported for since my freshman year and and been the Print/Copy Editor for this past year. I've written a daily newsletter called Morning, Mustang since January 2024 that summarizes the top local news stories in San Luis Obispo. This summer, I'll be interning for Lookout Santa Cruz, a pulitzer prize-winning local paper covering four cities and one county. I have two minors: one in City and Regional planning and one in Media Arts, Society and Technology (with a multimedia storytelling focus).
